Armyworms

• Active late summer to early fall

Fall armyworms are most often found in new sod but can also infest established lawns. These pests cause yellow to brown patches that are sometimes mistaken for signs of disease or drought stress. They can rapidly damage an entire lawn. We offer a one-time treatment to prevent armyworm infestations.

Fire Ants

• Active late spring to late fall

Red imported fire ants are common in yards without preventative treatment. They are a significant nuisance in several southeastern states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Their stings can be painful to both humans and pets. We offer a one-time treatment that protects your yard for up to one year.

Mosquitoes

• A nuisance for many homeowners
• Most active from spring to late fall when the weather is warm and water is available

Mosquitoes require both larvicides and adulticides for effective control, addressing both immature and adult mosquitoes. Eliminating standing water where they breed is crucial. Our Mosquito Control Service includes monthly treatments from March through October.

Spittlebug

• Active late spring through summer

Spittlebugs thrive in areas with heavy thatch, leaving “squishy” spots from the spittle masses. Their back end is wider than the front, and they are excellent jumpers, earning them the nickname froghoppers.

White Grubs

• Active spring through fall

White grubs, the larvae of scarab beetles, damage grass roots, causing brown patches and killing the turf. These grubs hinder grass from absorbing water and nutrients, leading to poor health. Damaged turf can easily be pulled up from the soil like a loose carpet.
